Where Research Meets Industry Innovation
The Wearable Advancements in Research and Performance (WARP) Group bridges academic research and real-world application, providing specialized testing services and conducting federally funded research that improves safety, performance, and product development.
About Our Labs
The WARP Group at Florida State University is led by Dr. Meredith McQuerry, her team of postdoctoral, graduate, and undergraduate students, and is composed of three labs: the ThermaNOLE Comfort Lab®, Textile Testing Laboratory, and 3D Body Scanning Lab.
Dr. McQuerry and her team utilize all three dedicated spaces for research, teaching, and external testing purposes. From firefighting and military PPE to medical textiles and sports uniforms, the Textile Research Group at FSU has received more than $5 million in funding under Dr. McQuerry’s direction since her tenure at FSU began in 2016.
