Cole Martucci

Cole Martucci is an FSU student and graduate research assistant in the ThermaNOLE Comfort Lab® and Textile Testing Lab. He completed his B.S. in Retail Entrepreneurship in 2025 and is currently pursuing his M.S. in Textile and Apparel Entrepreneurship. His work in the textile labs involves operating the ANDI Manikin for testing on firefighter turnout gear, conducting experimental garment wear trials, and contributing to the lab’s marketing and social media. 

Nadia Love

Nadia Love, current Testing Manager at Valley Forge Fabrics in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. in Retail Entrepreneurship and M.S. in Textile and Apparel Entrepreneurship in 2021. While at FSU, she worked in the Textile Testing Lab and ThermaNOLE Comfort Lab® under Dr. Meredith McQuerry, contributing to research on 3D body scanning of female firefighters and leading a COVID mask wear trial funded by a nylon manufacturer to study comfort and health impacts on first responders.

Lauren Vives

Lauren Vives, current Out-Licensing Coordinator for Crocs in Denver, CO completed her B.S. in Retail Entrepreneurship in 2025. While at FSU, she worked as a Laboratory and Research Assistant (2024-2025), conducting client testing in the ThermaNOLE Comfort Lab® and Textile Testing Lab while also working as a Teaching Assistant for Dr. McQuerry for the 2025 Cotton in the Curriculum grant program. Notably, her lab work involved firefighter turnout gear as well as research for knit fabric face masks. 

Reannan Boisvert

Reannan Boisvert, current doctoral student at Kansas State University, worked in the Textile Testing Lab and ThermaNOLE Comfort Lab® (2017-2021) while completing her B.S. in Retail Entrepreneurship and M.S. in Textiles and Apparel Entrepreneurship. Under the direction of Dr. McQuerry, Reannan completed textile testing for clients, assisted in wear trials focusing on PPE design/materials innovations, and led a team of students in collecting data through the use of the ANDI Manikin.

Jillian Serfozo

Jillian Serfozo is currently the lab manager and graduate assistant under Dr. McQuerry as she obtains her M.S. in Textile and Apparel Entrepreneurship. She previously worked as an undergraduate assistant in Dr. McQuerry's lab during her senior year while earning a B.S. in Retail Entrepreneurship at the FSU Jim Moran College of Entrepreneurship. She continues to assist with ongoing research and testing in all three textile labs on campus. 

Lauren Henry

Lauren Henry earned her Master of Science in Textiles and Apparel Entrepreneurship degree from Florida State University in August 2025, after completing her B.S. in Retail Entrepreneurship with a concentration in Product Development. From April 2024 to October 2025, she worked as a Graduate Research Assistant and Laboratory Manager under Dr. Meredith McQuerry in the ThermaNOLE Comfort Lab® and Textile Testing Lab, where she served as the primary operator of the ANDI thermal manikin and sweating guarded hotplate (SGHP).

Dr. Josephine Bolaji

Dr. Josephine Bolaji is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the ThermaNOLE Comfort Lab® in the Jim Moran College of Entrepreneurship at Florida State University. She has over a decade of comprehensive academic and industry background, having received her Ph.D. in Textile and Apparel Science from the University of Alberta in 2023. Dr. Bolaji specializes in textile material characterization, anthropometry, textile sustainability, and product development.

Meredith McQuerry, Ph.D.

Dr. Meredith McQuerry serves as the Director of the McQuerry Lab and oversees its operations. As the Carol E. Avery Associate Professor in the Retail Entrepreneurship program in the Jim Moran College of Entrepreneurship, Dr. McQuerry brings extensive expertise in textile science, clothing comfort physiology, and protective equipment design.
